Trolls can be a real hassle to deal with on a day to day basis in the world of social media, but if you’re as cheeky and whimsical as billionaire author J.K. Rowling, then you may just have a field day with them.
Rowling put herself in the sights of several angry Trump supporters when she called out Mike Pence and other evangelical Christian conservatives who supported the executive ban on seven Muslim nations.
'For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?'

The tweet was a response to one made by Mike Pence in December 2015. This was back when Donald Trump was merely considered an obnoxious billionaire with no real chance of winning the election. ISIS was at the peak of its strength, and the Republican establishment were attempting to mitigate zealous reactionaries within their own party. It looks like it didn’t work out, so the establishment politicians just jumped on the fear bandwagon for the sake of keeping a job.
Within an hour of making the tweet, thousands responded and retweeted J.K. around the universe.
Then there’s this guy, who somehow found the capacity to turn on a device and write out a complete sentence. He only has one like. Rowling’s response is savage and utterly accurate.

The scorn and ire of all the Trump trolls was not enough to put J.K. Rowling on the burner, as much as former fans bragged about burning her books. Perhaps one of her best come backs comes in the form of this witty retort to someone who threw 17 years of their life into a fire over Matthew 16:26.
Guess it's true what they say: you can lead a girl to books about the rise and fall of an autocrat, but you still can't make her think. pic.twitter.com/oB7Aq6Xz8M

Yeah, things are becoming bad and wild out there, but as long as we have J.K. Rowling’s twitter to give us some leverage in the fight against evil, we may come out of this okay.
Rowling is often praised as a role model for women for coming out of the gutter to create one of the most successful book franchises of all time. Although she donated a portion of her wealth to charity, she remains one of the wealthiest people in the United Kingdom, and one of the most powerful women in the UK according to BBC.
One thing is for sure, as the Trump administration continues to roll out controversial executive orders, J.K. Rowling is going to be around to leave some enchanting tweets.
